Basketball Recap: EF Academy Skates Past Marvelwood with Ease

EF Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 37-10 victory over the Marvelwood Pterodactyls. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead EF Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Greiderer, who posted six points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Hanna Blach, who earned eight points in addition to five boards and three steals.

EF Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in 12 consecutive matches.

EF Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.3 points on average over those games. As for Marvelwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
