Basketball Recap: Bishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Bishop Carroll lost against East back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Aces. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ismael Berry, who went 6 of 13 en route to 20 points. The contest was Berry's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Luke Henderson was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Bishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Bishop Carroll has already played their next match (against West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East will welcome Kapaun Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something East surely won't give up without a fight.
