            Richland Center hasn't had much luck against Prairie du Chien recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Hornets will face off against the Blackhawks at 5:00  p.m. Richland Center will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Richland Center's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Saturday. They came out on top against Ithaca by a score of  4-0.

Ithaca's batters probably weren't too happy with  Kyree Fischer, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up 16 Ks (she gave up  a single walk). Fischer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Richland Center secured the  victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was  Carley Mieden, who  went 1-for-4 with one  RBI.  Ella Clements also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Prairie du Chien's offense. They lost  8-0 to Onalaska on Monday. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Richland Center's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-7. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Prairie du Chien, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
