While Reynoldsburg's victory against Newark wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Reynoldsburg took Newark into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-17, 25-20, 20-25, 15-7.

Dimitri Lekoski paced Reynoldsburg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lekoski got some help from Lord Ryan Ramos and his 28 assists. Ryan Ramos also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Braeden Reedus, racking up five apiece.

Reynoldsburg's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Newark, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
