Basketball Recap: Elwood Victorious

Wes-Del came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Elwood, but Breelyn Norris wouldn't allow it. The Elwood Panthers claimed a resounding 58-17 victory over the Wes-Del Warriors thanks in part to Norris, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 assists. That makes it 19 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Elwood's points.

Kelsey Armes was another key player, going 5 for 10 on her way to 11 points. Those 11 points gave her a new career-high.

Elwood's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Wes-Del, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Elwood has already played their next game (against Mississinewa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wes-Del has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Cowan.
