Walnut Grove won the last time they faced Social Circle and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 2-0.

The win didn't come easy: Social Circle scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20.

Walnut Grove found their leader in sophomore Scout Peterson, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Walnut Grove's victory bumped their record up to 25-12. As for Social Circle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-21 record this season.

Walnut Grove will take on Flowery Branch at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Social Circle, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Druid Hills on the 2nd.
