Football Recap: Doniphan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Missouri Military Academy last Friday, Doniphan came back down to earth. The Dons lost 30-6 to the East Prairie Eagles on Friday. The Dons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Doniphan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for East Prairie, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doniphan will welcome Portageville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for East Prairie, they will be playing at home against Kelly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
