Lake Washington had lost ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-16 to make it 11. They lost 9-3 to the Issaquah Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on April 2nd.

Malia Donohue made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

As for Issaquah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. Considering they have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sadie Huryn (2025) was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Lake Washington will head out on the road to take on Juanita at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Issaquah, they will welcome Eastlake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Wolves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
