Basketball Recap: Foxcroft Academy Comes Up Short

Foxcroft Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 60-51 to the Mount Desert Island Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Ponies have lost by exactly nine points.

Foxcroft Academy's record now sits at 4-14. As for Mount Desert Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Foxcroft Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Desert Island, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ellsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ellsworth has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
