Basketball Recap: Old Redford Academy Takes a Loss

Old Redford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 53-7 loss at the hands of the Eastpointe Shamrocks.

Old Redford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eastpointe, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Ravens duke it out with the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Eastpointe, they will head out to face off against New Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. New Haven will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Eastpointe surely won't give up without a fight.
