Softball Recap: Upper Cape Cod RVT Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Upper Cape Cod RVT won the last time they faced South Shore Vo-Tech and things went their way on Monday too. The Rams came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 12-8.

Upper Cape Cod RVT let Rosalie Neville and Meadow Diede run wild. Neville went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Diede went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three RBI gave Neville a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Amya Irving, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Upper Cape Cod RVT pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for South Shore Vo-Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Upper Cape Cod RVT will challenge rival Bristol County Agricultural at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Shore Vo-Tech is set to face off against their familiar foe Old Colony RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
