Volleyball Game Preview: Silver Lake Regional Lakers vs. Plymouth North Eagles

The Silver Lake Regional Lakers will head out to take on the Plymouth North Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Plymouth North took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Silver Lake Regional, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Silver Lake Regional made easy work of Norwell and carried off a 3-0 win.

Silver Lake Regional never let Norwell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-25, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Plymouth North came up short against Whitman-Hanson Regional on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 24-26, 25-16, 25-13.

Silver Lake Regional has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Plymouth North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Silver Lake Regional was able to grind out a solid victory over Plymouth North when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Eagles' Kamilyh Kungu, who had 23 digs and two assists.
