Volleyball Game Preview: Pocono Mountain West Panthers vs. Pocono Mountain East Cardinals

The Pocono Mountain West Panthers will take on the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pocono Mountain West came up short against Freedom on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-8, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Pocono Mountain East lost 3-0 to Whitehall on Wednesday.

Pocono Mountain East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Pocono Mountain West, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Pocono Mountain West skirted past Pocono Mountain East 3-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
