Football Recap: Orestimba Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Orestimba's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Ripon Indians on Friday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Ripon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ace Dougherty, who rushed for 120 yards and one score on only five carries. Dougherty really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run. Jaden Becerra was in the mix too, providing Ripon with two TDs.

Orestimba's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ripon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Orestimba has already played their next game, a 41-0 defeat against Hilmar on the 10th. As for Ripon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-21 loss against Ripon Christian on the 10th.
