Merced had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Le Grand Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Merced was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Merced's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Le Grand, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Merced has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against St. Francis on the 5th. As for Le Grand, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against El Capitan on the 6th.
