Shepard won the last time they faced Oak Forest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Astros had just enough and edged out the Bengals 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Astros.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Shepard who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 22-25, 25-19.

Shepard now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Oak Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shepard will face off against rival Richards at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oak Forest is set to challenge their familiar foe Bremen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
