Independence got themselves on the board against Western Reserve Academy on Friday, but Western Reserve Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Pioneers 11-0. Considering the Blue Devils have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Independence has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Western Reserve Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independence will square off against Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Lions have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Western Reserve Academy, they will take on Kiski School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
