Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DMLK). They enjoyed a cozy 58-39 victory over the DSST: College View Wolves on Friday.

DMLK's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Rodriguez, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tay Hugley, who posted 20 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

When it comes to explaining why DSST: College View lost, don't look at Da'Naiya Hickey. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 30 points and 25 rebounds. That was a full 76.9% of DSST: College View's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Daisy Quintana was another key player, putting up four points along with six boards and four steals.

DMLK is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for DSST: College View, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.
