Baseball Recap: Hulbert Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Hulbert never got on the board in their matchup back in April, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Hooker on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Bulldogs. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Riders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team relied heavily on Shane Hubbard, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Weston Jenkins was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Hulbert has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Hooker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

As of now, neither Hulbert nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
