Basketball Game Preview: Brown County Hornets vs. Liberty Eagles

The Brown County Hornets will square off against the Liberty Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Brown County is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 63-39 to West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs].

Meanwhile, Liberty lost to Greenfield/Northwestern on the road by a 67-48 margin on Wednesday.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Brown County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Brown County beat Liberty 54-45 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will Brown County repeat their success, or does Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
