Basketball Recap: Sandy Valley Takes a Loss

The Sandy Valley Cardinals fell 47-34 to the Carrollton Warriors on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Sandy Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Carrollton, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandy Valley will welcome Fairless at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carrollton, they will square off against Meadowbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meadowbrook has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
