Preview: Lead Hill Tigers vs. Mount Judea Eagles
After three games on the road, Lead Hill is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Mount Judea Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on January 25th. Lead Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Mount Judea will be coming in after a loss.
Lead Hill posted their biggest win since December 15, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over Deer. The victory was just what Lead Hill needed coming off of a 75-41 loss in their prior game.
Kaden Baker was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Nicklas May, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Mount Judea's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by Alpena at home and fell 76-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Mount Judea has suffered since December 12, 2023.
Lead Hill's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-22. As for Mount Judea, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Lead Hill against Mount Judea in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 58-28 victory. Will Lead Hill repeat their success, or does Mount Judea have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
