Baseball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Delta can now relate to. They lost 11-5 to the Coal Ridge Titans on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Delta saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Reed, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Coal Ridge, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 23-2-1.

Delta has already played their next matchup, a 9-5 defeat against The Classical Academy on the 24th. As for Coal Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Eaton on the 23rd.
