Volleyball Game Preview: Wasco Tigers vs. McFarland Cougars

The Wasco Tigers will challenge the McFarland Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wasco came up short against Shafter on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-18.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when McFarland duked it out with Delano on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Tigers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Wasco's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for McFarland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-23-1.

Wasco beat McFarland 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
