Volleyball Recap: Revere Takes a Loss

Revere entered their contest against Lynn Classical on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Patriots fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Revere took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 22-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Lynn Classical had a senior duo take command as Stacia Wonoski had 18 digs and three aces and Azriella Jorge had 11 digs and two assists. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Wonoski.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Lynn Classical, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Revere will challenge rival Lynn English at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lynn Classical is set to face off against their familiar foe Medford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
