Soccer Game Preview: Pender vs. Heide Trask

For the second straight game, Pender will face off against Heide Trask. The Patriots will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Pender has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pender fell victim to Heide Trask and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Titans. Pender have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heide Trask is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Pender, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
