Basketball Recap: Fall River Takes a Loss

Fall River came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Mt. Shasta Bears, falling 79-32. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost eight in a row.

Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Mt. Shasta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Fall River and Etna will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Mt. Shasta, they will host Modoc at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
