Baseball Recap: Storm Lake Comes Up Short

Storm Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen, falling 10-0. If the Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Dutchmen when the teams met back in July of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Storm Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-4.

Storm Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-1 loss against Humboldt on the 8th. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they will take on Le Mars on Friday. The Dutchmen are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
