Battle Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Battle Mountain took a 1-1 lead headed into the third set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-21, 26-24.
