With a playoff win on the line, Noblesville rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Hamilton Southeastern Royals. Winning may never get old, but the Millers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Noblesville got a massive performance out of Brookelyn Grayson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Rundle, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Noblesville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton Southeastern only posted a batting average of .182.
Noblesville's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Hamilton Southeastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-8.
Coming up, Noblesville will take on Fishers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton Southeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
