Volleyball Game Preview: Sneads Pirates vs. Blountstown Tigers

Sneads is 2-8 against Blountstown since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Pirates will head out to take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Sneads lost 3-0 to Wakulla on Tuesday.

While Sneads was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-11.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Blountstown fell just short of Chipley by a score of 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for Blountstown in their meetings with Chipley: they've now lost three in a row.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Blountstown sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 25-12, 23-25, 15-7.

Sneads' loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Blountstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Sneads suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Blountstown when the teams last played back in September. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
