Basketball Recap: Great Bridge Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Great Bridge Wildcats came up short against the Landstown Eagles and fell 55-48.

Great Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Landstown, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Great Bridge will challenge Nansemond River at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Nansemond River will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Great Bridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Landstown, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Landstown Eagles challenge the Cox Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
