Volleyball Recap: Polo Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Polo entered their tilt with Hiawatha on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Polo had a senior duo take command as Grace Miatke had six aces and five digs and Camrynn Jones had six digs and two aces. Brylee Laskowski was another key player, getting six kills and five digs.

Polo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matchups.

Polo's record is now 17-10-2. As for Hiawatha, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-22.

Coincidentally, Polo and Hiawatha will both be playing Serena the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Huskers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Marcos will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
