Casa Roble is 1-9 against Dixon since June of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Casa Roble will host Dixon at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Dixon will be up against a hot Casa Roble squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Rams' way against El Camino on Tuesday as they made off with a 26-6 win.
Cassandra Alvarez looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Zaria Gee was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, eight RBI, and four runs. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Godwin, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Casa Roble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. They are undefeated (8-0) when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Dixon never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past Natomas 22-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.
Dakota Gaball was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Gaball was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Olivia Gomez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. Macee Boykin was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Dixon pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Casa Roble, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Casa Roble hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .424. However, it's not like Dixon struggles in that department as they've averaged .429. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
