Softball Recap: Pisgah Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Pisgah barely beat Skyline the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Pisgah blew past Skyline 12-5 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the game before.

Pisgah pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Skyline, they moved to 8-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Pisgah is taking a road trip to square off against North Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bob Jones at 5:00 p.m.
