Volleyball Recap: Rocktown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rocktown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the East Rockingham Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Rocktown took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-17, 26-24.

Kelsey Hatton went supernova For East Rockingham., getting 20 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hatton has posted since back in September.

Rocktown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for East Rockingham, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Rocktown will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on William Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for East Rockingham, they will face off against Spotswood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
