            Softball Recap: Troy Warriors vs. Yorba Linda Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Troy extended their losing streak  to three  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 6-15 in the process. They came up short against  the Yorba Linda Mustangs, falling  10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by  exactly ten  runs.
As for Yorba Linda, they now  have a winning record of 12-11. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
For Yorba Linda's part,  Samantha Cook made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over five innings pitched. Cook was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madeline Jeanblanc, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Saige Block was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Coming up, Troy will take on Crean Lutheran at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on  a  12-game losing streak. As for Yorba Linda, they will be playing at home against Sonora  at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
