Volleyball Recap: Lee's Summit Gets the Win

Lee's Summit was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Nixa Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 23, 2024.

Lee's Summit had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 8-25, 15-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-10.

Trenton Oldham went supernova, getting 16 digs and two aces. Those two aces gave him a new career-high.
