Basketball Recap: Eastmoor Academy Extends Winning Streak to Two

Briggs came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Eastmoor Academy, but Dekar Moultry wouldn't allow it. The Eastmoor Academy Warriors really took it to the Briggs Bruins for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-36 win thanks in part to Moultry, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 14 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Mouhammad Ndiaye was another key player, putting up seven points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Eastmoor Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for Briggs, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastmoor Academy and West will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Briggs, they will be playing at home against Marion-Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
