Basketball Recap: Western Heights Takes a Loss

Western Heights suffered their closest defeat since December 10, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Holland Hall Dutch by a score of 48-46. The Jets lost against the Dutch in their previous head to head back in January of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 75-43 score last time.

Western Heights' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Holland Hall, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

Western Heights will challenge Midwest City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Western Heights: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Midwest City has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Holland Hall has already played their next contest, a 48-34 defeat against Bishop McGuinness on the 25th.
