Lincoln Southwest kept a clean sheet against Lincoln North Star on Monday. They blew past the Navigators 10-0. Give Lincoln Southwest's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Lincoln North Star from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Kianna Perez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lincoln Southwest pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Lincoln North Star, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Lincoln Southwest will challenge Lincoln High at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln North Star does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
