Newton Falls entered their tilt with Mathews on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
