Baseball Game Preview: Hart Hawks vs. Immanuel Eagles

The Hart Hawks will face off against the Immanuel Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Hart's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Immanuel has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Hart came out on top against Golden Valley last Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Hawks took their matchup against the Grizzlies 7-4.

Cayden Kollasch looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hart is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-6-1 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Hayden Rhodes was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Hart is undefeated when Rhodes posts one or more home runs, but 6-8-1 otherwise. Jaiden Chan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Immanuel came up short against Kerman on Thursday and fell 5-1.

Immanuel saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Max, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Immanuel's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Hart, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.
