Baseball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Gets the Win

After losing to Nordonia the last time they met, Stow-Munroe Falls decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs skirted past the Knights 3-2.

Mason Stewart looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Stow-Munroe Falls is 2-1 when Stewart allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-6 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Will Marzec, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Stow-Munroe Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Nordonia, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
