Buckhorn had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 43-point drubbing they dealt Lee on Friday. The Bucks took their matchup with ease, bagging a 43-0 victory over the Generals. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Bucks this season.

Djone Rosario produced another solid effort rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. All came from Patton Moore: he went 3-for-3 kicking field goals for nine points, and 4-for-4 kicking extra points for an additional four.

Buckhorn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. DJ Hardaway led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Cole Snipes got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Buckhorn's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Buckhorn will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Lee, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Decatur at 7:00 p.m. The Generals will be up against the Red Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
