Soccer Recap: Walnut Grove Christian Comes Up Short

Walnut Grove Christian's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 6-1 to the HOPE Academy Royals. Walnut Grove Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced HOPE Academy earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Walnut Grove Christian's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4-1. As for HOPE Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

Walnut Grove Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for HOPE Academy, they will face off against Lee Park Prep at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
