Volleyball Recap: Verrado Takes a Loss

Verrado's tournament run continued when they took on Corona del Sol on Friday. The Vipers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztecs. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Aniah Brown paced Verrado's offense, picking up four kills. Brown got some help from Baylee Wakeham and her nine assists.

Verrado's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Corona del Sol, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-2.

Verrado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Shadow Ridge on the 10th. As for Corona del Sol, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Liberty on the 10th.
