Baseball Recap: Miller Place Takes a Loss

Miller Place lost against Kings Park on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingsmen. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nick Frusco was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Van Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Miller Place's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Kings Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Miller Place will take on Rocky Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kings Park, they will face off against Longwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
