Baseball Recap: Soda Springs Comes Up Short

Soda Springs's last matchup with Non Varsity Opponent could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Cardinals lost 9-2 to Non Varsity Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Non Varsity Opponent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 on April 5th.

Soda Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Junior Horsley, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Soda Springs has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-1 record this season.

Soda Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-8 win against Declo on the 28th. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-3 loss against Grand Valley on the 24th.
