Basketball Recap: Laguna Beach's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

University came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Laguna Beach, but Brody Azadian wouldn't allow it. The Laguna Beach Breakers walked away with a 61-49 victory over the University Trojans on Wednesday thanks in part to Azadian, who posted 26 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Will Hazelrig, who had 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Kagawan, who scored seven points and three steals.

The win snapped Laguna Beach's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-18 record. As for University, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

As of now, neither Laguna Beach nor University have any future games scheduled.
